Ruia College has celebrated unique rose day!
Couples
are the common subject around the world of youth! For these couples only ‘Ruia
College’ from ‘Matunga’ celebrates Rose Day every year. This year ‘back to
school’ was a theme of ‘RUIA’s Unique rose day. Many couples, friends were
giving roses to each other with different colors by its specific meaning such
as Love, friendship, Hate etc. It was a scene captured by my pen found in ‘RUIA
QUAD’ on 7th Sept. Specially designed love cards, friendship cards,
hate cards & crush cards were one of the attractions of ‘Rose day 2013’.
Atmosphere at ‘Ruia’ on Rose day was so nice & romantic. ‘Ruia’ – a college
which is well known for its discipline & perfect management had proved their
qualities again. Security was also important quality of arrangers. According to
the theme, many students & couples used to dress in school uniforms. It was
a scene can be describe as,’ Aisa Mauka
Kabhi Nahi milega’.

Zakkas D.J. was another part of the event. All Ruiates converted
their favorite Quadrangle into Dance floor. Rhythm was so nice & inspiring
with latest & popular bolly wood songs along with Nashik Dhol & traditional as well as hit Marathi songs.
Quadrangle was seen from the top as a beautiful landscape filled with enjoying &
cheering Ruiates.
Now
days, Youngsters are having better social point of view than they could have
before. ‘RUIA’ promoted one social mission & project while celebrating Rose
day. Better understanding of social problems around us is a good sign of rise
& welfare of society. ‘RUIA’ is a first college, from where St. Kathrin’s
social project began. ‘Roddies’ fame celebrity ‘Raghuram’ started mission by
donating Rs. 1. It is a social mission for the education of Girls. Each ‘Mumbaikar’
should donate at least Rs. 1 once in a life for this project that St. Kathrin
can work more efficiently for education of Girls. Crowd enjoyed some
responsible moments with popular celeb

It was a first rose day by which ‘Ruia College’ has arranged Fashion Show. On 7th there was a final round of most famous & highly competitive ‘Rose King’ & ‘Rose Queen’ competition. 1st round was judged by famous dancer & Marathi actress ‘Mansi Naik’ along with bolly wood singer ‘Neha Kakkar’. Short listed contestants were selected for final & Final round of Fashion Show was judged by ‘Gumrah’ fame ‘Karan Kundra’. Karan’s attendance made crowd happier to cheer for contestants. He also promoted his coming film ‘Horror Story’ on an occasion of ‘Ruia Rose Day’.

A
surprise visit of famous bolly wood singer ‘Priya Panchal’ to ‘rose day’ made
an event memorable. She used to sing her latest song to let mob rock on music.
D.J. Dhanush played very important role to enhance joy among the Ruiates for
the event.

Atmosphere
around ‘Ruia’ quadrangle became more romantic when, team ‘Lagna Pahave Karun’ came on the stage. Director & music composer
‘Ajay Naik’ is coming with his new film ‘Lagna Pahave Karun’ by 4TH Oct.
2013. Team ‘Lagna Pahave Karun’ has promoted their film by distributing C.D.’s
& interacting with RUIATES. Star cast of ‘LPK’ also played spot games. Presence
of Mukta Barve, Umesh Kamat, Siddharth Chandekar & Ajay Naik made this
event memorable.

Same time a most awaited result of ‘Rose King’ & ‘Rose
Queen’ was came out. Mohneesh Pitre & Sadichha Kulkarni won this contest. They
both were felicitated by hands of Mukta & Umesh.
Event
was so nice to keep in memory that, we can memorize it when we feel romantic.
Cheering with R U I A RUIA RUIA made it more energetic. Hence, at the end I would
like to comment, ‘Still nothing is better than experiences committed in life of
Ruia’.

DeleteHate is ugly. To sell it in the form of cards is uglier. Ruia was never like this.
